When will Fiona Band ship?

It is expected to ship in early 2027 to addresses in the United States. We’ll email you as the ship date approaches, and you can cancel for a full refund at any point before your band ships.

When am I charged, and can I get a refund?

The pre-order price of $249 is charged in full when you place your order. You can cancel at any time before your band ships for a full refund. If the estimated ship date changes, we’ll tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Health and safety features (sensing, fall and SOS alerts to family, location, CGM readings and the family app) work without a subscription. Fiona AI, which adds proactive help, conversation, memory and everyday tasks, is $19.99 a month or $15.99 a month billed yearly.

Is Fiona always listening?

It can be. For proactive help, Fiona Band listens through the day so it can learn your routine and offer help at the right moment. You can switch to “only when I ask”, so it listens just after “Hey Fiona” or the raise-and-tap gesture. There’s also a mute button, a soft listening light and a guest mode.

Where is what Fiona hears processed?

Speech is processed securely in the cloud so the band can stay light. It’s encrypted, and used only to help the wearer and the people they choose. You can see and delete what Fiona remembers.

Who can see my information?

Only the people the wearer invites, and only what the wearer chooses to share. Health readings, location and daily summaries are each shared separately.

Does Fiona Band call 911 or emergency services?

No. A double-tap calls and alerts the family members you choose. It does not call 911 or dispatch emergency services.

Does it work without a phone nearby?

Yes. With its built-in eSIM, Fiona Band connects on its own, so calls to family, alerts, location and voice help keep working if the phone is left at home, wherever there is cellular coverage.

Does it work with my glucose monitor?

Fiona Band is being designed to read glucose data from compatible continuous glucose monitors you already use, so family can see readings and alerts in the app. Fiona Band does not measure glucose itself.

How long does the battery last?

The target is up to 5 days, depending on how it’s used. Always-on listening, GPS and cellular use all affect battery life.

Is it waterproof?

It is designed to be water resistant to 50 m (5 ATM), so hand washing, rain and swimming are fine. Avoid hot tubs, saunas and soaps, and rinse it after the beach or pool.

What does the family app do?

It’s one app for everyone. The wearer signs in to manage their band and privacy. Family members see a daily summary, get alerts if something looks concerning, and can send reminders and messages.

Which countries does it work in?

The United States at launch. The UK and the UAE are planned next, with local pricing.

What languages does Fiona speak?

English at launch, with more languages to follow, starting with Japanese.

Is there a referral programme?

Yes. Refer a friend and you’ll get a month of Fiona AI free when they join.
