Always-on
Fiona Band listens through the day so it can learn your routine, notice when meals and medicine have happened, and offer help at the right moment.
Privacy by design
Listening, on your terms.
Fiona Band can listen through the day. That’s how it notices the plan, the refill and the walk with friends before you ask. So we built the controls first.
Two ways to listen. You choose.
On request
Only when I ask
Fiona Band listens only after “Hey Fiona” or a raise-and-tap. Health, safety and SOS keep working exactly the same.
Switch between them any time, by voice or in the app.
What happens to what it hears.
No mystery, no fine print. Here is the path, from your wrist to the help you asked for.
- Heard on your wristThe band’s microphones pick up what it needs to help, or nothing at all if you’ve chosen “only when I ask”.
- Encrypted on the wayAudio and data are encrypted as they leave the band.
- Processed securely in the cloudProcessing happens in secure cloud systems, so the band can stay light and the battery lasts.
- Used only for youWhat Fiona hears is used to help you and the people you choose, and for nothing else.
Controls you can feel.
L02 · Voice in the kitchen
Only when I ask
Switch off always-on listening. Fiona Band then listens only after “Hey Fiona” or a raise-and-tap, and nothing in between.
V1 · Mute button
A mute button
One press on the side of the band turns the microphones off until you turn them back on.
V2 · Listening light
A listening light
A soft glow, easy to see up close and never bright, shows whenever the band is listening.
V3 · Guest mode
Guest mode
Friends or grandchildren visiting? Pause listening for the afternoon with one sentence: “Fiona, guest mode.”
What it remembers is yours.
See what Fiona has learned about you, correct it, or delete it. Ask “What do you remember about me?” and it will tell you.
- Family sees summaries, not conversations. “Medicine taken”, never what was said.
- The wearer decides. Who’s in the circle, and what each person can see.
- Forget on request. Delete a memory, a day or everything.
- Pause any time. Mute, guest mode or “only when I ask”.
