Privacy policy
This policy explains how [Company legal name: to be added] (“Fiona”, “we”) handles personal information collected through this website. For how Fiona Band itself will handle what it hears and senses, see Privacy by design. A full product privacy policy will be published before Fiona Band ships.
What we collect
- Newsletter and “notify me” sign-ups: your email address, the date you signed up and which form you used.
- Pre-orders: your name, email, phone number if given, shipping and billing address, chosen colour and order details. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
- Earlier waitlist: if you joined our waitlist before October 2026, we hold the name, email, phone number, optional city and country, and consent you gave.
- Emails you send us.
- Basic site usage: if enabled, privacy-friendly analytics that count page views without cookies or tracking you across sites.
We don’t ask for health information on this website.
How we use it
- To process, ship, change or refund your pre-order, and to send receipts and order updates.
- To send product news if you signed up for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To answer your questions.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.
Who processes it for us
- Stripe: payments and checkout.
- Formspree: newsletter, notify-me and waitlist forms.
- Vercel: website hosting, short-lived server logs and, if enabled, cookie-free analytics.
- Google Workspace: our email.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We don’t use advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site today. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for consent where required.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as needed for the order, refunds, warranty and legal or tax requirements. Newsletter and waitlist details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe at any time, by emailing hey@yourfiona.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the CCPA; we’ll honour them.
